Upset Alert - Eagan vs. Park

Post by EastMetro Hockey10 »

Park: 1
Eagan: 1

End of two

Shots 33-15 in favor of the Wildcats. Could we see another massive upset?

I said the same thing about Armstrong but I agree I think Eagan will turn it up in the 3rd.

If they pull off the upset you'll have a #5, #6 or #7 team guaranteed at State.

Not to mention a team that finished in the bottom half of the SEC

A little premature with the upset alert. Unless they were playing WBL...

haha maybe a little. 1-1 after 2 had me pretty surprised though.

Regardless, they still haven't played great hockey the last 3 wks. Hope they pick it up, as it would be nice to see this group of kids finish their last season together strong.

Hats off to Park. The got an early goal and were hanging on for the better part of two periods, although the play was in their end most of the game. Eagan's depth showed through in the third though with several goals from the top 3 lines.

Hard to believe that fourth line didn't do much again, huh? Go figure.

I'm confused. Is this a shot at Eagan's 4th line? 3 lines are putting up numbers is called depth in high school hockey. How many high school hockey teams have their 4th line putting up points in the 3rd period of a section semi-final game?

I think Pioneer guy was ripping on the original poster for saying that several goals came from the top 3 lines. It pretty much goes without saying that the top 3 lines contributed to all of the goals......

My fault, sometimes it's hard to pick up on sarcasm on a message board, thru email, text, etc...
