I'd like to see the Hilltoppers win this, but Breck is just too loaded.

I might as well pick one upset in Class A, so I'll go with this one. The Hilltoppers do have a lot going for them--one of the state's players, strong team defense, enough depth to keep up with the top metro private schools. However, they do lack a decent logo.

Awfully bare hill there. Couldn't find one with some green? You know, the kind of green it takes to go there? $$$

Darn, should've thought that one through a little more. I'll pretend the bare hill is symbolic of something or other.

Seems to me like Breck is going through a bit of a down period. Tough blind draw for the Toppers but i think Breck looks past them. quarterfinal loss 2 years running for Breck 6-5 OT Toppers move on.

While DM has a great player, Breck has 3 very potent lines. Unless the goaile has a shaky night like he did against Blake, the Mustangs win this one by a field goal or more.

Toppers vs. mustangs

Might be the most interesting class A game on Wednesday.

Breck's depth should prevail provided Kinney can stop a few pucks.

Mustangs - 5
Toppers - 3

Why is everyone picking this as an upset game? DM has only 1 line and one superstar? Breck has 3 very strong lines and Austin Rudnick anchoring there blueline. The biggest issue is goaltending. Who is gonna bring their A game?

I take Breck 6-3.

Same reason 2/3rds of the people on this forum picked TG over STA. They dislike the underdog private less. They really don't think they will win they hope they will. Me Too in this one  4-3 DM in OT Shots will favor breck 35-19

A Hill, Karl? Really?

No, no. Breck takes this clash of the "evil" privates.

Mustangs, 5-2.

I don't see an upset here. Marshall is a solid team, but they will need to be at their best to have a chance in this game. If Breck plays at a steady pace and they don't get out of controll through the first half of the game, their team speed will be too much for Marshall in the third.

Prediction...

Because they have 3 lines and a Goalie that will give Breck fits!! Thats why.
I guess we will see Wednesday.

No Defense for this prediction other that INSANITY! :D

Only way Marshall has a chance is if they can score 6+ goals...and they won't.

the school that prays the hardest, plays the hardest and will come out victorious. I dont see breck losing unless judd peterson pulls a ben hanowski and scores like 8 goals. Plus, Les Larson wont let this team lose this game.

Breck probably hopes Peterson pulls a Hanowski and disapears just Hano did 3 years ago at State. As for the Lasron comment, he and Jr. might be the weakest links on this team
