WOW! Not sure what just happened. I mentioned to lock this up for the NEEDED part of the original poster. That stuff doesnt need to be discussed on a public forum regarding high school coaches.
College coaches making a living off their coaching, go for it. Rip them all to shreds. However, nobody on here needs to make a list of coaches that need to be gone. That was my point.
Discuss all you want about current vacancies.

While I am not entirely sure what NOPOLITICS is trying to say, I will make a few points:
This is not a public forum. It is a private forum that invites any and all to comment on MN HS hockey, so long as they do not cross certain general lines that are outlined in the Forum Rules, which are available in several places on this board. As those rules state, moderator policy is best not discussed on the forum, though I (and Lee and Mitch, I am sure) are willing to discuss them privately. And, incidentally, not one of us is a parent of a MN hockey player.
This is a thread about coaching vacancies, and should remain as such. If you want to talk about why a coach was let go or resigned, by all means, just make a separate thread--see the current thread on Morinville from Moorhead as an example. If you want to critique a current coach, you can do that as well, though within certain reasonable limits--see the current thread on Edina's future as an example. (As Tigers33 says, creating a thread listing those who "need" to be fired would probably exceed these limits.)
Now, back on topic.

My hockey playing son has said for many years that Jeff Pauletti is the best hockey coach he has ever played for. Coach Pauletti is the coach he enjoyed playing for the most. I feel sorry for the parents of Roseville who allowed this to happen. Who will want to coach our kids as long as these things continue?goldy313 wrote:Pauletti resigned from Roseville. KMSP had an interview with him, he said he was tired of the BS from one family who accused him of "bullying" their son.

The way you stop it is for parents to stick up for the coach. Parents run programs all over the state. Parents complain about certain lines, systems, players that make certain teams, etc...Maybe a parent needs to stick up for a coach and make a public stand about parents that do run out good coaches. Instead parents just sit back and wait for the next coach, and complain about that coach too.
I see it, hear it, almost everyday I am at the rink.

Although this could be its own topic, it probably fits best here:
