Anyone know why Hermantown doesn't play a tougher schedule? I'm not saying it's weak schedule, but with as good as they are every year one would think they'd add a couple more top AA teams. Rapids and Cloquet are solid competition, but adding a game or two vs BSM, Edina, or Tonka (amongst others) might prepare them a little better for a team like STA.

Keep in mind those teams you mentioned must also want to play Hermantown, an A program, which many top AA teams choose not to. In addition, many of these top AA teams have set schedules with mutual agreements with other schools for years, with little room to add a game. I know one of Hermantown's frustrations is that Duluth East in in their back yard and refuse to play them.
