Centennial @ Moorhead 12/15

Post by SPUDNUT » Thu Dec 13, 2012 11:54 pm

Won / Lost records don't seem to matter much here, as these two have played many exciting, close scoring games, including 5 O/Ts, 1-0 for the State Title and a 0-0 tie. Spuds hold a slight edge at 6-4-3, but I don't think that'll concern the Cougars much.

Cougars are only averaging 2.6 GPG, casting serious doubt whether they can score 5 against the Spuds in the Moorhead Sports Center !

Cougars 5
Taters 1

Well, there went my theory of another close game. Guess the Cougars wanted revenge for the Spuds beating them on their ice last year 4-0.

Oo0oh - that damn crow tastes just like chicken !

Was a "good game" only for people wearing red . . . . . . . . . . . . and for the Taters, after Tuesday, the schedule only gets much tougher.

 5-1 SPUDNUT......and you thought I was crazy to predict that score!

This game was over after the first period..... Centennial 3-0 (scoring 30 seconds into the game and 8 sec. into a pp to make it 2-0.....Spuds were lucky this didnt go to running time!
Spuds are a young team that has a new coach......we have alot of growing to do....ugh its going to be a long year!

You make a couple interesting points here:

1. Who, in their right mind, could ever think you were crazy ? (tsk, tsk)
2. You also predicted 6-1, which makes you wrong 50% of the time.

I have a bold prediction for 'ya (which, unfortunately, might very well come true) - they're gonna lose 6 of their next 7 games. Almost predicted a loss to Brainerd on Tue also, but they lost to Tech last week, so there's still hope. On the other hand, maybe we will, too !

Think they otta give Matt Cullen a call - he's not real busy right now.

You want Matt Cullen to coach or play? If you're hoping he'll play for them, I think that might fall under the category of "recruiting"...
