I know they get talent from Esko and Carlton I was just refering to the name of the team not the players. Same with the Indian name for GR I just cant get use to Thunderhawks. I went when it was just Cloquet not CEC just use to old school thats all.

Grand Rapids 4
CEC 2

With Rapids healthy I think they start on a roll. I see them as the section champ.

I just hope we don't have a bunch of Thunderchickens on here looking at Cloquet when they still have to play I. Falls tonight. Grand Rapids has more talent, but with Hjelle in net and on his game, anything is possible.

CEC and Chicks

Post by northwoods oldtimer »

Playoff atmosphere for this one and ditto performance we all saw in game 1 matchup last season. OT thriller and it is a you pick em' type game with both clubs up to the task. Myself I am taking the Chicks in a surprise upset 3-2.

cloquet will win this game. they are too good to lose to rapids but it will be a close game. cloquet will come out late and win 5-3 in a tight win.

I agree.
They are gonna have to find a way to gain some momentum down the stretch.

Saturday would be a good time to start.

The same question was asked of another player in a different thread, but I don't know. He got the two and ten for the CFB so would this fit?

If so, that bites; Rapids needs him about the "mighty" lumberjacks tomorrow. I'd like to see a Rapids win just to a) make 7AA more interesting and b) shut up those who think Cloquet is unstoppable. Man, you'd think they invented the game. Not to mention how much fun our few Rapids fans would have at work on Tuesday yipping at the Sappi City fans.

It's gonna be interesting.
I'm gonna stick with my post on page 3.
Now that they lost to DE, they will beat CEC in a tight one.
