He reminded me of Zach Parise, only Okoposo can hit.

I read a nice article about him in the pioneer press a few weeks back & I hear he is one helluva player. I was surprised that he didn't give Bernie McBain any props in the article though, because the Minnesota 98 team that McBain coached and Okposo played for 8 years in the off-season had 9 of it's 11 players get D-1 offers and i know quality coaching definitely had some impact on the type of player he has become.

'88 team with Okposo

Post by slappy11 » Fri Feb 18, 2005 10:32 pm

first, i beleive it was the 88's not 98's. second, anyone can say they have had d-1 offers. as for verbal commitments, 5 from that team have committed so far..Mueller, Carman, Okposo and Johnson all to Gophs' and McBain to Wisconsin

What? Peter Forsberg is the best hockey player in the WORLD the past decade. Brunette isn't even in the same stratosphere as far as talent goes. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... smokin.gif ALT=":smokin">

How about Okposo plays like....
