Whoa my hats off to this team definitely didn't think it would be this close of a game, giving WBL a battle tonight and scoring 2 goals on them.

Edited by: <A HREF=http://p074.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUserP ... ous44>Lord Infamous44 at: 2/20/05 5:10 am

irondale did not give wbl a battle, wbl owned the entire game. in the 3rd period the refs tried making it even by giving them pp's. But it made it even for both teams because it was like even strength.<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... tongue.gif ALT=":b">

The refs called many penatlies on Irondale too and Irondale killed them off, I thought Irondale played a heck of a game for being 76th in the state and WBL being top 5, and scoring 2 goals on them. That WBL team wont make it to state if they almost lose to Irondale.

Edited by: <A HREF=http://p074.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUserP ... ous44>Lord Infamous44 at: 2/20/05 1:25 pm

I wouldn't say they almost lost, but they made it way to close against an 8th seed. If WBL doesn't pick it up, I won't see them making it either.

lord infamous/hill fan were either of your two at the game? Hill i know you saw the 3rd period. WBL dominated granted irondale did score twice. but other then those like 5 mins where it was kind of even wbl controlled the puck. Yes, it wasnt their best game but they won and thats all that matters.

WBL/Irondale

I was at this game, and WBL did control the game no question BUT they did seem to stop playing hard after the first period im not sure why, Irondale did score twice but thats nothing. When WBL was shorthanded they seemed to play harder then when 5on5, i dont understand that, i do agree if they dont play hard 100% of the game they will not make it to state. I think things will change next game.

My point was to give praise to Irondale (76th team in state) for keeping the game close (4-2), The first goal scored on WBL was from a sophmore, so maybe Irondales program could be turning around.
