Based on what I saw Saturday afternoon, I would guess Moorhead will dominate the Rams. 7-1 <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... s/pimp.gif ALT=":hat">

Roseau 1-18-05 6pm at Moorhead

Post by Potatohead9 » Mon Jan 17, 2005 10:09 pm

I think that Roseau will either get embarrased like 10+ for Moorhead or this will be rather close in the first couple of periods then the spuds will pull it away. Just like the last time they met. After all Roseau just lost to Bemidji last week?

Roseau/Moorhead

Post by swifty » Mon Jan 17, 2005 11:49 pm

Yes I believe Martinson is still injured... so most likely Kyle Spicer will get the start in net.

With that being said, I think the score of the game will be around 10-1 Moorhead. Seems like the Rams never play well in Moorhead, and the Spuds won't have much trouble putting the puck past lil' Spicer.
<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... ferent.gif ALT=":|">

goalies

Post by birdmister » Tue Jan 18, 2005 12:07 pm

Well the Moorhead will have a serious problem tryin to put the puck past little spicer, or any other roaseu a goalie. My prediction...0-0 since the game has been postponed.

Postponement

Post by CitiesSpudsGuy » Tue Jan 18, 2005 1:09 pm

Postponing the game only delays the inevitable. It'll be running time in the 3rd WHENEVER they play the game. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... s/wink.gif ALT=";)">

According to the Spuds' schedule on the MSHSL website and on the Moorhead High School website, that is right. The game has been rescheduled for February 1st @ 6:00.

Are Many of you coming down for this game, or are you going to wait until they meet in section playoffs, since this game is on a weeknight?
Thats Mr. Potatohead to You!

If Bjerk plays like he did against Warroad it will be close. I dont think Roseau has any chance of winning but I think it will be at most a 4 goal game if Bjerk is on his game

prediction

Post by birdmister » Tue Feb 01, 2005 10:47 am

This game can go two different ways.

If the team that showed up to play in the 1st period against Bemidji, and Fergus Falls...well this will most definitley be a 10+ game for Moorhead.

If Roseau comes out strong in the beginning like both meetings with Warroad, and their last meeting with Moorhead I beleive this will be a two-maybe three goal game. Bjerk is a solid goalie, and if he gets the support from his D, he should have a good game.

Morinville confirmed it on his radio interview on sunday, games at 6 not 7:30.

Any thing within 5 for Roseau is a moral victory

Sorry, The Rams don't believe in moral victories. Rams in an upset.
Ram Hockey
Edited by: <A HREF=http://p074.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUserP ... hockey>Ram Hockey at: 2/1/05 12:56 pm

Rosea winning

Post by birdmister » Tue Feb 01, 2005 2:58 pm

Roseau probably beat Moorhead last in the 00/01 season. I wouldn't know for sure though. Maybe 99/00. But ever since the 01/02 season, Roseau has only been able to come out on top once, but that was in Roseau.

Yeah, 7-0 Moorhead. Shots were 41-15. Moorhead even killed off a full two minute 5-3 penalty. Great game by Deutz, and Moorhead seems to be firing on all cylinders. Hope they can keep it up for Jefferson. If so, they will beat the Jags as well, 4-2 I say.
