and dont even mention last game between cent and mh... if centennial didnt just come off a 4 hr bus ride im sure they would have competed harder.... and wbl should have beat them the first time they went up there

Good points about WBL and Cent. I believe Moorhead has already counted the chicks before they have hatched...Not good going into the tournament, Nothing is for sure when tourney time rolls around. I wonder if anyone else in the state has as many runner-ups hanging in their arena as Moorhead does?<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... ohwell.gif ALT=":\">

Man there was a lot of shoulda, woulda, couldas in that post. Moorheads number one right now and will continue to be until someone beats them again. And on another note, Im flying back to MN to see the tourney, cannot wait. (not that anyone of you would probably care)

wbl vs mh - 1-1-0
cent vs mh - 0-1-1

both teams can compete vs them and 3aa champ has duluth east or cloquet.. not easy win but for sure win.. semi final game should be a great one, but dont be surprised if 3aa beats 8aa

not knocking hill or roseville, but as long as wbl and cent play like they should, the section championship will be between wbl and cent.... which should be the teams to upset the spuds <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... s/roll.gif ALT=":rollin"> <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... s/roll.gif ALT=":rollin"> <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... s/roll.gif ALT=":rollin"> <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... s/roll.gif ALT=":rollin">

Centennial and White Bear are the favorites, but I wouldn't count out either Roseville or Hill. Both are capable. With that said I think it will come down Centennial and WB. If any team has a chance to take down Moorhead, I think Holy Angels is best suited to do that.

this could actually be a fun thread. i've enjoyed the cent/mh cat fight. i'll even admit to being a chiefs (oops) cougars biased postee..... i would love nothing more than a wbl/cent face off for section champs. enjoyed the hill game last year which, by the way was the greatest section game played in the coliseum since it was built. it will go down as a great game and exciting finish. any (true) hill fan would agree and i'm sure i will hear an opposing view from some. maybe aha is the best team to take mh on. maybe not. section 3 is in itself a state tournament. a cent/mh championship game would be yet another highlight to add to this hockey fans list........<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /happy.gif ALT=":D">

I never said Hill would beat Moorhead at state, I just think that Hill is capable of getting there.

great topic just genious to be honest i hate the talk about hill or roseville weather they can win of course they can it make take alot more but any team on any given day any team can win thats why you play. nobody expected hill to get 4 on moorhead nobody expected hill to beat wbl last year and nobody expected hill to be the last team to score on centennial last season call the kettle black but this is my opinion

Hill has a chance in 3AA and if anyone from WBL, Roseville, or Centennial says otherwise they could be in for a big suprise when they play Hill if they take them lightly. Hill is still a top 10 team and has great speed which is essential in the playoffs. I'm not picking them, but anyone who looks past them will get beat.

If WBL wins the section they better focus on winning their quarterfinal game for the first time in school history<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /laugh.gif ALT=":lol"> before looking ahead to Moorhead.

We won't learn much packerboy. Hill will play them straight up, like Centennial and the Jags. Very little coaching as the game means little for seedings. I would expect the Spuds to walk, but no running time. Only at state will the mighty Spuds see "wrinkles" in how to play them.
