St Cloud Apollo is looking more and more like a good team. We faced them early in the year and they looked average but now as the season progresses they look like a top team in the state. They deserve a look

What is Moorheads record this year??? If we are talking about good JV teams , we need to mention Woodburys'. They are in one of the tougher conferences in the state (the Suburban East). This team is 21-0-2, I believe this may be the best in state but I'm not sure. That is why I ask about Moorehead. They have wins against Roseville, Eagan(to win the SSP Tournament), White Bear Lake (twice), Champlin Park, Armstrong, Stillwater, Tartan, Cretin DH (twice). They have Hastings (@Hastings - tough place to play) and Mounds View(@ home) left to play. This team doesn't use any third or 4th line varsity players, they are all strictly JV players. They are made up of 4 Juniors and 14 Sophmores(Woodbury doesn't use any Freshman they leave them on the Bantam team). Recently one of their players was added permantly to the varsity roster. This team scoring ave is 5 goal w/a GAA of 2.0. Their specil teams are great. The PP is at 40% and PK is at 98%. This teams focus is onDefense and Specil teams. With that said they have had 3 key injuries to their Goalie , Def, and Center that has cost them 13 man games. Woodbury this year has to be said to be one of the key JV teams in state and gives the varsity program an added boost for the future.

I would have to agree with you Gumper 100% about Woodbury. Very good team and if they are able to stick together, especially those sophmores, they should be a good varsity team in a year or 2.
This young man has had a very trying rookie season, with the litigation, the notoriety, his subsequent deportation to Canada and that country's refusal to accept him, I guess that's more than most 21-year-olds can handle. Number six, Ogie Oglethorpe.

how about some props to an underrated team this season. STMA's JV team is somewhere around 17-2-3. Their only two losses came during the same week to two of the best teams in the area (Buffalo and Delano). and they also beat a very good shakopee team early in the year.

Woodbury finishes 22-0-3 , they beat CDH (twice), Roseville,Wbl (twice) , Aemstrong , Eagan , Tartan ( who beat Hill). They tied Roseville , MV 1-1 and Stillwater 5-5 ( after being down 4-0 1 period 1/2 into the game). Maybe the best team. Did Hermantown finish undefeated??

How can Minnetonka have 26 games ?? HS rules say you can only play 25. They must be 23-1-1 , that is still not undefeated.

Roseville

Last year went 19-4-1 and this year topped it with the best JV team in Roseville history going 20-3-2. Lead by JV veterin Andrew Spangenberg, yes the same Andrew Spanenberg that picked off Gopher Football recuit Adem Weber.

Hermantown did finish unbeaten. The only Class A team to do it while Woodbury was the only AA team to go unbeaten.

the only reason hermantown was undefeated is the refs screwed over hibbing when they played
