I think some can if they are skilled enough and have the drive to do it. I was asked to tryout for a team in the Manitoba junior league. So jr gold players do have skills to play it but the one question that still remains is if they have a good enough work ethic and determination.
of course there are some jr gold kids that could make it to the jrs. why does everyone judge kids on jr gold, theres other reasons their on jr gold than them being bad kids.
I know of 1 or 2 who have made it to juniors but its pretty rare. Just because your playing jr. gold doesnt nessesarly make you not good enough for varsity. Drinking, drugs, bad high school coaches, are all reasons for junior gold A as well
Well for some teams yeah, Rochester is a sick place to play Jr.s, over 1200 fans a game and they get one player to D-1 every year it seems. Went to a game last week and counted 11 players on the roster that were Jr. A guys, tender and draft picks and stuff, they are pretty sick.
Other than the Ice Hawks like one other team is pretty good a year, last year it was the Lights, this year is't either the Owls or Mustangs who were both garbage last year.

he plays on moundsview along with david mchmahon, both played varsity last year for moundsview. Also, david mcmahon used to play with roseville, i dont know why he changed. but the reason this happened had to do with things that are in greenhouses.
