Cloquet Jr Gold

Post by hawkeyes100 »

Cloquet was mentioned of having a Jr. Gold team. Is this team going to play A or B level?

I was told by the MN Hockey Gold VP that they would be A. The goal was to have all north teams be 'A'.

Is there even a team in Cloquet this year? Who is the coach for Cloquet Jr Gold?

Edited by: <A HREF=http://p100.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUserP ... eyes100 at: 11/18/05 8:08 am

I heard last night that there are a few players but there is no coach. Cloquet will not release the players to Duluth. Who is willing to give players an opportunity.

If this team even goes forward, they will struggle. They will only play scrimmages against some of the northern teams. I would assume they are not participating in any tournaments.

Good luck.

They have the players but no coach - no play.

Next? If the association does not let them play for Duluth their youth hockey career is over.

Now, this is all under the assumption there is no caoch. Hopefully, a parent will step forward and volunteer there time to help the players out. Even if they only get a few scrimmages in and a chance at regionals.

No disrespect to the assocaition but they should have stepped forward and looked months ago for a coach when they knew they where going to field a team.

Tell me if this is true. I heard Carlton board members had a part of this Jr Gold team from Cloquet. If this was a combined effort both Carlton and Cloquet boards should have had a game plan. No coach, thats just great, let the guys move onto another team then. I've seen the numbers out there last two years and yes there are guys to fill teams at both A and B levels. Hello people now is no time to start to put a program together maybe those board members should look at all these guys and not worry about just the varsity team. Hope you guys that don't have a coach right now fight to keep playing this year. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/mad.gif ALT=">:"> <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/mad.gif ALT=">:">

intresting, i beleive this shows the man you are, getting back at butch on this website, and not showing him up by coaching a team that is needing a coach to beat him, and teach kids at the same time, cowardice. talk the talk..walk the walk.
