I would say a full scholarship to UMD is a little well over average. He's also a '92 birth year playing Midget Major.

Haven't seen him play in a while, but being a '92 on a Midget Major team isn't out of the ordinary. There's many of them throughout the country, and not sure completely about the rule, but didn't think it was legal to be offered full scholarships to schools until the summer of your jr. year. Sure he's doing great though.

It was a full ride, but no more. He's playing for Portland Winterhawks and has given up college hockey eligility rights.
