Hockey Sticks for Nephew

Post by Traxler » Tue Dec 09, 2014 12:56 pm

I'm looking to possibly buy a couple sticks for my nephew (4.5 years old). Any guidance that could be provided on how to determine whether a stick is the right size or good for him would be great. He doesn't play organized hockey, so maybe it doesn't really matter other than getting one that is a good size. Back in my day we just cut them down to fit, but I assume that sticks these days aren't made of wood.

Thanks for any suggestions.

There are still some wood sticks around and that would be best for his age. Length should be between chin and bridge of nose without skates.
