Make yourself useful and track down the scores!

Here is a score for ya:)
Final score of the SSM 19U VS Chicago Mission 19U
SSM 4 to CM 2 final score.
Tied 2 to 2 late in the 3rd. CM scored 1 on themselves then SSM got a empty netter to spread the lead to 4 to 2.
Great game!

Fuel for so many comments.
Priceless.
After taking care of your hygiene this morning you should come up and watch some high school aged girls play some hockey. Good stuff:)

This makes no sense, unless you recently moved here or haven't watched any girls hockey the last 8+ years. With few exceptions, these players have been leading the 96 97 98 birth years season after season.nu2hockey wrote:Good hockey weekend watching NIT...
Got to see numerous girls play that I have never seen play and it was a pleasure.Makes the upcoming MSHS LEAGUE season more interesting and fun .
Plus your reply re: 2x Rev 16s also doesn't answer his question. Elite red white black don't play your teams at all right? So did 10 girls sit this weekend out or were they not really 16u?
I get you are excited about your daughters team, but getting pumped up for the HIGH SCHOOL SEASON seems a strange statement since you obviously haven't watched much in previous years (since you don't recognize these players) and BE won't be playing against any MSHL high school teams after 10/27.
First time going to NIT..
Many of the girls i am unfamiliar with play on teams that i have not seen play.(recognize many names though)
I am new to the cities.(little over 2years)
Don't know about 2 U16 Revolution teams, but they had two teams in american side
No daughter playing but close family friend has 10u , 12u, and just grad hs.

Not on black red white. Not on any elite league teams. If there were any 7th 8th 9th graders playing 19u I would sure like to hear who.
My point was that if you had seen any girls hockey in the last 8 years, most if not all of these names would be familiar.
Guess the guy who "pointed it out to you" is also "nu2hockey."

What's the point of this discussion? Nobody mentions names, out of respect for underage young girls. So we hear names of temporary teams which won't play together past next week. And we have scores reported on games that are nothing more than glorified scrimmages, the results of which won't be remembered.
Yes, yes, go ahead and post childish insults about me. But this is a Girls HS discussion board, and none of these posts are talking about HS hockey. Since apparently there are no moderators, it won't get moved where it should.
Thank god tryouts start next week and this goes away.

There are six Elite teams and I believe this is how the rosters were create:
Red, White and Black are considered the upper/U19 level consisting mostly of exempt players who made National Camp as a 16 or 17 and players who tried out and were selected from the tryout in June. I believe that you were invited to the tryout if you made a final 54 team for Reebok HP 16/17. These are predominately 10th, 11 and 12 graders or birth years for HP's 98, 97 and previous 96 HP players. All three of these teams played in the U19 level for NIT. In Elite league, these teams did not play any U16 teams or any of the Royal, Sky and Grey teams.
Royal, Sky and Grey are considered U16 level and consisted of mostly kids who were part of a HP 54 roster or HP 15. The Royal and Sky teams were comprised of 9-12th graders. The Grey team was mostly HP 15 National Camp kids with birth year of 99 and are mostly in 9th or 10th grade.
After watching the NIT this weekend, I think these were their records:
National Level U19:
Black 4-0, champs of U19 level, beating SSM before a nice crowd of scouts.
Red 3-1, lost to SSM U19.
White 2-2, lost to Elite Black and Mission U-19.
American Level U16:
Grey 4-0, champs of U16 level, beating Revolution Black
Royal, 3-1, lost to Grey
Sky 3-1, lost to Mission U16
Overall, it shows the depth of talent of Minnesota girls, virtually teams thrown together with little practice, which was sparsely attended (19-5 in the NIT Tourney, 2 of the 5 losses were to another Elite team) and both levels of play won by an Elite team.
