What we learned after week one?

Post by moosepaw »

What did we learn after week ones games:

Eastview might be a contender vs Burnsville.

Forest Lake it might be a few years before they are competitive.

Haley Hanson can steal games against very good team like Mapke Grove.

Does BSM have enough scoring punch? 1-0 over Bloomington?

Chisago Lakes has earned #1 seed.

Gentry could be tough to contend with.

Fun first weekend of hockey for the girls!

Goalies can win games - Hailey Hansen with the 50 save SO of Maple Grove and Chastity Anderson in Bloomington allowing just 3 goals on 88 shots as the Jags go 1-1 against a couple of really good programs.

There are some have's and have nots - mucho blowouts on opening weekend.

Speaking of....Edina 9 - Eden Prairie 0?? Is that accurate? Are the Hornets THAT good? And who forgot to call in the results?

You're right about Gentry - they can play. Good week for them coming up @ Holy Family and @SSP.

Pellicci will almost single-handedly carry Prior Lake to a respectable record in the South Suburban. 34 save shutout in their opener.

Does the home team enter the stats? If it was really 9-0, maybe EP conveniently forgot to call it in? :D
