If I were making subjective rankings, I'd start here, but probably make an adjustment up for Gentry given the win over Andover, up for Blake and down for Maple Grove (their game score was not all reflective of the game), and up for Holy Family (their modest goal differential reflects low scoring margin, but their D and goaltending make them more formidable then their score differential).

My current rankings (10 AA, plus the two single A recruiting machines):

1 Gentry
2 Andover
3 Tonka
4 Warroad
5 Maple Grove
6 Edina
7 Proctor
8 Hill-Murray
9 Holy Family
10 Centennial
10 Blake
12 Moorhead

(EDIT: Warroad was underrated earlier. Myhockeyrankings caps the goal differential it considers at 7, which shows Warroad as only wining some of their games by 7. They are probably right near the mix of the top 3 - ahead of Maple Grove and Edina. Fixed.)

This is based on games as they've been played. Without Sajevic, Gentry probably drops to 3. Without Brown and Sauer (if they both remain out), Andover drops to 2. With Morrison healthy, Blake ups to 7.

There are some great out-state stories so far, but Bemidji is not a top 10 AA team. Roseau closer. (EDIT: Revisiting this - Bemidji's win over Roseau would suggest otherwise, obviously. Games vs. Roseau and BSM upcoming should clarify). BSM does not appear to have earned Peter's elevation of them (in spite of wins over the 43 and 70th ranked teams).

Well Gentry can't be in the Top 5 if they give up 10 goals. I know they beat Andover which is very impressive....but giving up 10 goals to a class A team is not ok.

BSM did beat both Warroad and Roseau which should allow them to slide somewhere into the lower half of your ranking.

The myhockeyrankings are up... I see Warroad is #10 on strength of schedule. According to this they play the toughest schedule among single A teams and 10th toughest overall? Quite a jump from years past for them when they played the cream puff schedule. For the math guys am I reading this right?

The SoS shown on their website right now is based only on games played so far. But their schedule for the whole year looks pretty tough! The average rating of all 25 games on their schedule is 94.16, which would be equal to the 9th hardest schedule in the state played so far. I looked at a few other teams I was interested in:

Andover - 94.88 (7th)
Blake - 93.88 (13th)
BSM - 92.67 (33rd)
Edina - 92.78 (29th)
Gentry - 93.51 (18th)
Tonka - 92.87 (29th)
Warroad - 94.16 (9th)

(This took some time - no requests for other teams, please)

The ordinals are not super meaningful - as some teams with really high SoS will go down as their schedule balances out - Andover's will probably end up higher than 7th overall, for example. But the rating number is probably about right - so with Andover at 94.88 as the benchmark, Warroad's schedule is about 0.7 goals/game easier than Andover's, Blake's is 1 goal / game easer, Gentry is a bit behind that, and BSM, Edina and Tonka all play a schedule about 2 goals / game easier than Andover's.

Note North Wright County, Farmington, Rogers, Worthington and Lakeville South have not played 5 games (or don't have 5 games of data on the website) so are not included in the ranking. I added their data to include them here.
