Predictions - Warriors VS Crookston 11-15-2005

Post by hockeysense »

The Warriors caught Crookston flat in 2004 and beat them early on 8-2. They have a very solid team returning less Marvin, C-town has gained some very valuable experience from last season. Prediction Warriors win 5-3.

A score of 5-3 is way to high. Both teams have very good goaltending and very good defense. No more than 3 or 4 goals total will be scored in this one.

I'm with Tina on this one! An early season game with alot of action. Goal tending and defensive play will improve as the season moves on.

Slayer Orr.....Sarah Erickson (Roseau) played two games against Crookston last year and ended up with 0 goals and 0 assists. Not sure if Holly is any better than Sarah or at least 3 goals better than Sarah, but then again, you never know. Should be a very interesting game!

eagle - absolutely.

Sarah's going to also make Bemidji a contender. Her and Josephson should make a good pair. I heard that Christopherson from Park Rapids was transferring there also. But, now I heard she's staying in Park Rapids? She would of made a great addition to that line.

I think Bemidji will be a powerhouse this year and end up winning the section. They have a great goaltender and will have two solid lines. Their only weak spot will be defense which they have very little returning.

Hey AI, haven't seen your prediction for the low scoring game you forecasted. You must have an opinion?

hockeysense - this one is to close to call. All depends on who stays out of the penalty box and who makes the least mistakes......how's that for a forcast!

Crookston has to be a favorite in this section. I see Crookston with a slight edge in this game. 5-3 Crookston.

AI - You have always been one with an opinion. I am surprised that you didn't stick your neck out on this one like always. Maybe you are starting to think before you post?

ghshockeyfan - You are most definitely one of our most seasoned posters. Maybe you could help AI with a prediction? It appears he needs help!

Edited by: <A HREF=http://p100.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUserP ... eysense at: 11/15/05 11:41 am

Warriors vs C-town

Post by hockeysense »

Just heard the final score on the radio, Warriors 4, & C-Town 3. Pirates jumped out to an early 2 goal lead after the first period outplaying the Warriors. Then the second period became the Holly Roberts show scoring a natural hat trick. Warroad went in after 2 up 4-2. The third period saw even play with C-Town pressing at the end. 23 penalties called in the game. Word is the Refs have been told by the MN highschool league enforce stickwork/checking penalties more closely. Sounds like the game could have gone either way with the Pirates out shooting the Warriors 23 -22.

Edited by: <A HREF=http://p100.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUserP ... eysense at: 11/15/05 10:00 pm

Artificial Ice - I will have to take back anything negative that I have said to you in the past. You are a class act complimenting the competition! Good luck to you and your C-town Pirates. They are a very talented team.

Nonstopper - Hope you are referring to the officials and not the players on your post. Very high paced, action packed game. Some of the best talent you will see in class A this year.
