Here is the thread to talk about 7AA...so I want to hear it. Here is my quick 2 cents to get it started:

Favorite-C-E-C
2nd Favorite-GR/G
Next Best Choice-Duluth Coop

Goaltending/Defense will win this section...

Favorite Team Offense: GRG
Favorite Team D/Goaltending: CEC
Favorite Team Dark Horse: Duluth Coop
Favorite Forward: Emily Erickson
2nd Favorite Forward: Sadie Lundquist
Favorite Defense: Montana Vichorek
Favorite Goalie: Paige Thunder

Ultimately, I'd say Cloquet has the stronger team. But I'd like to see the Lightning come out on top this year.

Choice: GR-G Lightning

That's just my 2 cents worth though!

Favorite Team Offense: Cloquet (until the lightning can prove they can bury the puck, because in scrimmages, they couldn't)
Favorite Team D/Goaltending: Cloquet
Favorite Team Dark Horse: Duluth Coop
Favorite Forward: Sadie Lundquist
Favorite Defense: Montana Vichorek
Favorite Goalie: Paige Thunder

I like yours a lot. It was a big toss up for me between Lundquist and Erickson, but as soon as Erickson starts burying the puck (as we know she can, and will) she'll be on my top.

To be honest...in scrimmages...the Lightning girls are FAR FAR FAR away from a championship. If they think they are just set to face C-E-C in the chip, then you could see an easly exit. Tons of talent, but must improve a lot.

It's too bad I had to miss the scrimmages! Hopefully Rendle can whip them into shape.

Mr. Rendle will have no problem getting those girls ready for the season.

Team: GRG Lighting
Forward: Erickson/Lundquist
D: Vichork
G: Thunder
Winner: CEC/GRG...toss up.

Overall team Depth: GRG, I think they will put 3 good lines up with the help of some of the younger player. Goaltending should improve.

It will be a great section to watch!!!!!!

Duluth over Totino Grace, 4-3. Still early in the season, I don't think the "streak is beginning" by any sort.

I don't know who is correct here?

I think the term "streak" implies two or more consecutive occurences, thus no streak can start after one event, however, the usage of the passive phrase "let the streak begin" kinda suggests that the streak has not yet started, but has the potential to be starting soon. I am leaning towards ageeing with the enthusiam of Paperdoileys and agreeing that a potential streak may be in the near future.

So when do the GR and Cloquet streaks start?

The Lightning streak officially starts right about the same time the Duluth one ends, November 21st when they play eachother.

If the Duluth Goalie is the G from the C/D team last year, she's pretty good from what I hear.

Why isn't the GR streak starting Saturday?

Shouldn't the Lightning handle the two teams from the Cities...Roseville & Edina?

Yes, they should. I don't know about "handle" but they are both winnable hockey games...
