PREDICTIONS ANYONE? #2 CROOKSTON @ #10 ROSEAU

Post by northlandpro »

THIS LOOKS TO BE AN EXCELLENT EARLY SEASON MATCH UP BETWEEN TWO VERY GOOD TEAMS. THE RAMS WILL WIN THIS ONE AT HOME 4-3 IN OVERTIME. GOALTENDING COULD VERY WELL SPELL THE DIFFERENCE IN THIS ONE. ](*,)

lol i predict that erin lee will be outmatched and that crookston will skate their way thru the bitter coldness into victory... it also might help that they have greater numbers than roseau... intelligent enough for you?

Crookston vs Roseau

Post by Sioux Rule »

Interesting matchup. If I had to pick a score, I'd go
Crookston 4 Roseau 2.
This means that the winning team scored more goals than the losing team.
I'm not so sure that Crookston has greater numbers than Roseau.

Looks like the weather will be balmy this Friday for the big match-up. I will have to go along with b  blee "The Rapids Hockey God" that Roseau will win scoring more goals. The Roseau girls are coming off two tough losses including a 2-1 loss to #3 South St Paul. These games have prepared the Ram's to sneak up on the Pirates which have been inactive since 11-28-06. Look for the "Wheels" to fall off.

Not Crookstons best game, could have done some things better but they pulled it off..... and the "Wheels" continue to roll.

Now... any predictions for Crookston vs. Bemidji?

OK, so maybe I was a bit too optimistic, the Pirates earned the victory after a slow start. Look for the X-tender and the rest of the Bemidji squad to flatten the "wheel's" of the Pirates and skate to a 5-2 victory.

Bemidji vs Crookston......this one should be fast and furious.
If I understand correctly, Crookston's goalie from last year is now playing for Bemidji? Would think this would give Crookston some incentive. Guess it will come down to goaltending!
