5. is willing to let stud players leave because of 1-4

NO! But, I'd be in big time favor of whining parents just shutting up and let the coaches coach and the players play!

My kid has been cut! My kid has also persevered and not let it define him/her. And, it certainly hasn't defined his/her parents! The bottom line is kids get cut all the time, some kids play a lot and some play a little and some play in between. When speaking of HS athletics and beyond that is what life is about. Not everybody gets A's and not everybody gets to be on the power play. If your kid is going to get the most out of competitive athletics they need to find the lessons in all of it. This is what is so hard for most parents to deal with because it actually requires them to parent. The easy thing is to just blame somebody or something for their disappointment.
Do you really think the kids are going to play evenly this weekend at the X? Do you think the ones that don't play as much are going to not enjoy the experience?
