Prospects

Post by zambonidriver » Mon Aug 03, 2015 7:50 am

Was at the 3rd weekend of the OS prospects/Futures camp.
Wow =D> Some of the best hockey I have seen on the girls womens side. I wonder if this is where hockey is going. Only Winny could get these girls seen by that many college coaches over 3 different weekends. =D>

How many top end kids were there? I assume there were not Machine and Blades kids there unless they were double dipping so was it OS kids only?

Here's the list:

My daughter (a 2022) was on the ice with 4-5 of those Futures girls yesterday at practice. Heck of a busy weekend for them.

Not a tournament per se. Not sure anyone is even tracking stats (other than the scouts, and parents!) We know a few kids playing on the older level, and they play on a different team with different coaches every weekend. I looked at both Intl and Prospects rosters and almost NO overlap at least at 19s.

Can they offer kids on the spot or is it a non-contact period for NCAA?

Who did well, for those in attendance?

The coaches were taking turns on the bench!
