Bobby Hull

Just saw on-line where Bobby Hull passed on at 84 years.
Story doesn't say the cause.
ESPN report.
One of the greatest to ever play.
R.I.P., Bobby.

I hope Bobby Hull gets the same treatment in the afterlife that he gave his wives. The guy doesn't deserve any bit of peace.

He had his problems but someONE else will be the final judge.

Persoanally, there are only two people that I wish them ill after they are gone.

It must be great to be the first person in nearly 2000 years to be without fault.

No, I am saying humans do bad things, we are all sinners. John 8:7. I am not the one to throw the first stone. Neither are you. I do not condone his behavior by any means.

I am not embarrassing myself.

It is really pretty ironic how people want to judge others. That this sin committed by someone else is so much worse than my sins. Instead of acknowledging we are all with sin and fault.

If he admitted his sin and asked for forgiveness…..I am not the judge and jury on that. I guess you think you are.

None of us is in a position to judge his soul. But, we certainly can judge his legacy, and how much we honor him.

We're all complicated people, capable of good and bad. There are red lines, and domestic abuse is a huge one for me. I chose not to honor wife beaters.

I think we also have to remember that back in the 50's and 60's sports stars were treated differently than they would be today. I attended a banquet a number of years ago and the main speaker was the daughter of a famous sports star. The part of her speech that really got my attention was first that the police would bring him home drunk and second the first thing her mother taught her about the phone was how and when to dial 911. Similar situation but at the time nothing went public, I do believe that this problem was way more common then we have been lead to believe.
