Ditto. I love this kid. What does he do after winning the Class AA scoring title in his age class? He pops up to Major Junior, picks out the opponents most experienced fighter and proceeds to clean his clock. 15 years old? Amazing! Keep it up kid! God luck up there
If that other kid was an "experienced" fighter, with his wacko opening move, I hate to see an inexperienced one.

First thing I thought when I saw him do that was, "First time, eh son ?"

When someone is busy doing that dog and pony show, that's when you pop 'em one in this kisser :P
:D No kidding, I thought the same thing. That plug has only 1 goal this season and leads their team in fights;

I guess he thought he had an easy one with a 15 year old 9th grader coming up from the Minnesota High School ranks and decided to put on a little show before dishing out the two-fisted welcome. Boy was he wrong! The only welcome there was Jesse's fist and his face ... and his face again ... and again ... and his ribs ... and again ... and finally, his a** and the ice!

Way to go Jess! Don't let em push you around.

What the heck are you guys talking about?

Looked like two little weenie sissies to me. There are 1000 players that would pound either one of these posers.

Big deal. The kid he fought is a 1996 birthdate, 1 year older than him. Both are the same height and weight.

I'd like to see you say that to his face. You'd be picking teeth out of your bottom lip for a week

Hockey North: One is a 17 year old with 60 games and 12 fights under his belt. One is a 15 year old fresh from Minnesota High School. Haters gotta spin though

One was born February of 1996 and the other June of 1997. So they are 1 year apart. Maybe one got held back or started school late and is a freshman when he could easily be a soph. Big fricken deal. You make it sound like the poor little scrawny 15 year old took on a 23 year old Man!!
Well I'm happy you are proud of him.

Feb 1996 to June 1997 is one year? Nice math from up in flanell land. Is one year still 12 months up there?

I made it sound like a 23 year old? I simply said the 15 year old 9th grader took on their fight leader and beat him. He did.

One is 17 years old with 60-odd games of Major Junior under his belt, with a team leading 12 fights on the season.

One is a 15 year old 9th grader playing his 2nd game and having his first fight.

It is what it is. I just made an observation.

What's your dilemma?

"weenie sissies" is a little over the top.
More like midget wrestling.

I think it was more like when Apollo Creed took Rocky Balboa too lightly...

If the midget cobra move could instead be labeled "rope a dope", it worked with getting Mr. and Mrs. Scorekeeper going.

Thats excellent! And don't forget Mac Carruth. Another one of the 3 Minnesota boys on that team. Carruth 16-4-1 in the playoffs with a 1.63 GAA and 94% save percentage.
