If Besse wins, then this is probably the first time both players played on the same PW and SQ A team together, but neither one played for their hometown high school.

Did Ness and Erickson play youth together?

I belive they played youth together at roseau and even dated during high school.

I do remember reading an article that said they were going together while at the U of M, for a time anyway.
