Mankato West - losing 34 points out of 343 total points this season; 91% of the Scarlets scoring is coming back for 2013-2014. West is returning it's top eight scorers, 12 of their top 14, and both goalies.

Just putting it out there.

Won't matter on Holy Family case. There will be more scoring this coming season, than last. Guaranteed.

Yes more scoring against HF. They can look forward to being throttled by EP,Zata,BSM or Tonka in the first round.

Gershich is a stud, period. Wish him the best - has a great future. But I think they will be just fine next year.

It's going to be interesting to see how HF ends up this year. I don't see them anymore competitive then they were last year, where they got beat up pretty good by EP in sections and couldn't produce much offense. I think it will be the same as last year, they will NEED Lacombe to stand on his head to have a chance in big games.

3. Wayzata (Will be a solid consistent team with another big goalie)
4. Hill Murry ( solid group of returners)
5. Blaine ( good group of Sr/Jrs will win allot of games)
6. Elk River ( only loses 4 seniors! but also Hillman)
7. BSM ( Good group of Edina kids, wont get out of Sections)
8. Edina ( depends on who they lose they could move up or down)
9. STA ( Many holes to fill,12 Seniors, both goalies and Daugherty..can Novak carry them?)
10. Prior Lake ( PL Starts cracking the polls this year and will be good for next 3-4 years)

Burnsville

Post by Granttenn »

I think Burnsville will be an interesting team returning all top 5 scorers including Sheehy & (D) Teemu. May finally give Edina a run depending on who sticks around there. The first game on Nov 21st will tell a lot as B'ville plays Hill, who return all but 1 player from 1st two lines (and who had 4 returning players drafted by USHL last month).. Hill plays B'ville, BSM & STA in 1st 4 games so we'll find out early if the loss of Lavalle & Dugas make much of a difference. Wayzata is another final 4 team if they can get through sectionals. Saw them last year at the Turkey Trot to start the season and you could tell they were going to be a special team. Edina will always be there as well.

Blaine (as long as Cline is there), Roseau (Yon failed in his Sioux Falls walk-on attempt. Would he have gone?) and Elk River have to be in the mix as well. May see a few newer powers emerging this year. Prior Lake and Eatview will be interesting to watch. Driscoll is an amazing talent who should keep Eastview in most games. Sorry - Don't know much about the Duluth area teams this year. Cloquet should be way down (One Michauad graduated and the other tried to walk of with SF in USHL & Kuhlman is gone, right) and East lost an awful lot of talent.
