I am curious as to how people think this Section plays out this year. Preseason Predictions?

1. East Grand Forks High School
2. Thief River Falls
3. Warroad High School
4. Crookston
5. Detroit Lakes High School
6. Lake of the Woods H.S.
7. Park Rapids-Menahga-Nevis-Walker-Hackensack-Akeley"
8. Red Lake Falls
9. Kitson County Central - Hallock
10. Bagley/Fosston

If I had to be consistent with my picks throughout the years, I'd say Park Rapids will probably take the Section 8A title.

Are all the Warroad people gone from the 'Bored', or do they just realize this is not their year?

Park Rapids goes to EGF, can they keep it from going to running time?

Red Lake Falls at Crookston tonight.
Crookston pulls away in the third.

Bagley DL and TRF play non-section games.

Bagley will lose at Wadena, TRF will lose to Roseau.
DL has a shot at a win against fergus.

EGF has to be the favorite with a lot of strong players returning from their state tournament team.

Warroad has low numbers but some quality players. The core of the team is now the group that had a very solid Bantam team 2 years ago.

TRF is very well coached and always seem to get the most out of their squad.

After those three, I do not think anyone has what it takes to make a run at the section.

I'll ride the wagon the rest of the season. I now live in SD, I get to watch the Aberdeen Wings, which is actually quite entertaining being a tier 2 junior program..... Where are all the Warroad folks?...I need someone to criticize.... Elliott, you are far too old for me to criticize, I would almost feel bad!

I love how everyone still has the hang up on Warroad imports, it's not Warroads fault that all the good high school hockey players and their families want to move to a top notch program like Warroad!!!! So try and find something else to cry about! For people to actually think PR will go somewhere get a life they are the worst team ever!! My predictions will be an EGF vs Warroad section final
