Only if WBL doesn't play their first line the whole game, FL might have a chance.

1-1 after two
I missed the first but caught most of the 2nd. Very physical game. Garcia (FL goalie) Has looked good.
White Bear was more in control during the 2nd

good game here about 8 min left 3-2 WBL
WBL scored on a breakaway to make it 2-1 then FL came back pretty quick to score
they then took a commercial break and Wahlin scored during that which was disappointing to miss. coudnt have been more than a minute so another quick goal

Following all this while im writing a 5 min major taken by WBL and FL scored just 5 seconds in on the Powerplay

Tied 3-3 with FL still on a major Powerplay

4-4 tie. My hats off to Forest Lake. Now tying two of the main front runners in the SEC.

ends in a 4-4 tie

Very physical and entertaining game.
Giller for WBL had 2 goals while Gravelle (who stood out a lot to me) for FL had 2 goals

Overall I think White Bear Lake had the advantage in play but took a lot of penalties which ended up costing them. Especially the Majors where the first one they ended up getting scored on twice and the 2nd one during the final 2 and a half min of overtime.

Forest Lake was a gritty team that played a lot of dump and chase on the offensive side who really did not quit, When WBl took the lead every time at 1-0, 2-1 and 3-2 they came right back with a goal of there own in quick fashion. On defense they were sound positionally and didn't give up too many chances. Along with Garcia in net who I thought played well and from what I have heard about him prior to tonight I think they could surprise some teams.

To correct green4 Gravelle had a hat trick and I agree. He had a great game and led forest lake. Forest lake is legit this year and could surprise some teams.

Thing is that Forest Lake could have easily beaten Cretin and White Bear considering that they've had late 3rd period leads and was up 3-0 on Cretin. But they just get that unlucky bounce that sends it to OT. They could make a run this year!

"Thing is that Forest Lake could have easily beaten Cretin"...

well considering they were up 3 zip in less than 5 minutes and tied 3-3..I believe the final score was more indicative of the actually balance of the two teams. The word easily here is way way off...

Yeah you're right I probably should have used a different word, but they were winnable games for Forest Lake!

Two five minute majors and they still ended in a tie.....

Is Flake for real, or did WBL just keep them in it with penalties?

Forest Lake is for real, good goaltending, some speed, and very physical. WBL had their hands full.
