He means January 11. There are 5 games (really 4 since girls play some other game, not hockey) being played at TCF Bank Stadium. There was a thread about it on here, I can't find anything online about whether these are being streamed. I'm still looking though.

The White Bear Lake - Cretin-Durham Hall game at 5:30pm will be streamed on The Horn.

I haven't found any information on the other games yet.

It looks like the Bloomington Jefferson - Lakeville South game will be streamed here, although they have the time wrong. The game is at 3pm, not 7pm.

There are still some unanswered questions that I know have been asked by at least one of the teams playing at the Bank on Saturday. Not just whether they'd be allowed to webstream the games if somebody else isn't already doing it, but whether they would be allowed onto the field with their cameras and equipment...wouldn't be much value in webstreaming the game if the cameras are confined to the stands.

I found this contact info on a press release about the games. Maybe you want to reach out to Bill to find out if more games are being streamed.

I agree with you. I did hear that the stream from The Horn (http://www.thehornwbl.com/) will be audio only due to restrictions by the organizers. Hopefully we'll hear about streams somewhere.

Here's a day-old tweet with a fan's-eye view of the Bank's rink from the stands: http://ow.ly/i/4dC8f I guess a video feed from the seats would be better than audio-only.

Oh, in case anyone's interested, here's a more recent tweet that shows the glass up and the ice going down: https://vine.co/v/h3qwhOUaVWi. Can anyone tell from the picture or video clip whether it is an olympic-sized sheet?

I was told it was an NHL size rink.

For a HS game the experience looks to be even worse than a game at the Cow-iseum. Any more on the deal with web streaming? Is this out because of the brain trust of the powers that be with some crap rule?

Without 50,000 people in the stands the Gopher game may even lack some atmosphere with the rink that far away from the seats. Anybody know the expected attendance for the Gopher game? For the benefit of the teams playing and hockey fans wherever they reside that want to catch a glimpse I hope somebody makes a reasonable decision to permit live video broadcasting.

Almost - I assumed your mystical, yet prominent influence over all things Wildcat Hockey would have ensured that the City of EaganTV crew would giving those who want to stay home a front row seat to the action - at least for the one game Wildcat backers have had circled on their calendars since last February? What gives?

The for-profit Chicago-based promotion company gives out the invitations, so it's their call.

Not that much of a surprise to me if they want to block a webstream that (in their minds) would provide a disincentive to someone who might otherwise purchase a ticket and watch the games live. They're probably still figuring out how to monetize the requests to broadcast.

As for the rematch....I'd argue that if there's only one game circled on the calendar, it's the Feb 11 game at the Civic Arena (Sat's game at TCF is a Lightning home game). After all, it was Eastview's 4-3 win at Eagan last January that served as Driscoll's coming out party, and set the stage for the Section Final that followed. And yes, ETV will be there.

I emailed Bill Behrns and he replied very quickly and told me that all five games will be streamed live on www.mnhockeyhub.com.

So far they've sold between 43,000 and 44,000 tickets. If the weather's decent it should be a great atmosphere.

With that many people the parking is going to be tough with all the snow. Any shuttle service avaiable?

I didn't know hockey hub livestreamed any games, earlier in the season, the guys from the horn told me MSBN had the rights to the high school games.

Don't know about shuttle service, but I do know that the Gopher ticket office was selling parking reservations in advance, which my brother and I did take advantage of.

Bars/eateries that run free shuttles to TCF for home football games may do the same for the Hockey Classic. O'Gara's Grill in St. Paul is one example: http://www.ogaras.com/events-detail/mn- ... r-classic/ Check on-line for other options that might be more convenient for your location.

I know Gabe's by the Park has a bus. The Gopher Blue Line Club will sometimes have luncheons there, so I'm guessing they'll be another option, good for people who live on the St. Paul side.

I could park in my old frat house's lot and go here for dinner and their shuttle: http://www.blarneymn.com/
