Quick Question

Post by HockeyGuy85' » Thu Jan 30, 2014 8:56 pm

I'd like to know who everyone thinks the best players out of the State are of all time? I've heard a lot of names thrown around but I feel like my question would be answered better here.

The answer would be me!, but I never really played hockey so it will be tough to prove.
Just wanted one answer to be as silly as the question.

Orr wasn't bad, apparently.

The Farmington goalie that put the puck in his own net then flipped off his bench. If you don't believe me.. just ask him!

I vote for inthetwine. He dominates all the mites on the pond.

Well, at least the mini-mites.

If they ever update the top 100, I'll be interested to see where Grant Besse ends up. Kyle Rau (No. 11) is the only comparable player on the list as far as era goes, and I don't think Besse would be too far behind him. Thoughts?

Think they would likely include Justin Kloos as well, although I doubt they will ever do list again. Think Besse and Kloos would both break top 50.

There's a guy named Gary Gambucci from Hibbing who is in the US Hockey Hall of Fame who didn't make the list. All American at the U. Played for the US National team. Not top 100?

Never said he shouldn't be in. Think the Hub actually did a really nice job on this project. With all the great hockey players in MN history this would have been quite the daunting task to break them down into the "best" 100.
