7AA Quarterfinal: Forest Lake at Grand Rapids
The only AA quarterfinal between two top 25 AA teams will take place at the IRA Civic Center at 7:00 on Tuesday. This has grown into a mini playoff rivalry as well, with the Rangers knocking off the Thunderhawks twice in the past 5 years. Rapids leads the all-time playoff series 6-2.

Where's old goalie85 who said FL (15-8-4) was the best team in the suburban east this year, they must also then be the best team in 7AA. Maybe even the state!gitter wrote:For all the loudmouths from GR and FL on this forum, this is sure quiet. I expected to see some humorous material here.
Grand Rapids wins 4-2.
Please pick up the banter...

Rather have GR win?? I would much rather see Flake in the Semis than Rapids. Flake has never been a rivalry with DE. Rapids has played East tough as anyone over the last 3-4 years.Slammer wrote:I like Forest Lake in this one 3-1.
Even though as an East fan I would way rather have Rapids win.
I'll take Rapids to win this game 4-2.

Forest Lake 4, Rapids 1. Would much rather see a Rapids-East semifinal. The atmosphere at Amsoil would certainly be more exciting, but based on how Rapids has played this entire year, Shepherd will need one of his "stand on his head" games for Rapids to win. Rapids' play in their defensive end has shown little improvement over the year.

r
I like F-Lake 4-2 (en)
I'd really like to see them run to the section final just to validate that the SEC is not the joke that the some think it is...

Well if I was going based on if I wanted East to have the easier opponent I would like Forest lake. But I want to see a good game, so id love for rapids to win.Houndhockey wrote:Rather have GR win?? DE could've "easily" won state the last 5 years.

So do you want Bischoff's team to beat your beloved dashounds again this year?Slammer wrote:Well if I was going based on if I wanted East to have the easier opponent I would like Forest lake. Again??? Last time I checked Rapids hasn't beat East in like 8 or 9 tries. And since when is this Bischoff's team? I think Peterson and Sheppard would have something to say about that.pipersniper12 wrote:So do you want Bischoff's team to beat your beloved dashounds again this year?Slammer wrote:Well if I was going based on if I wanted East to have the easier opponent I would like Forest lake.
