National Holiday

Post by elliott70 »

Are the next few days a national holiday or is it just me????

Work for 20 minutes spend 40 minutes talking hockey and that's today.
And I am an old man and have seen this tournament for decades.

Good luck to all the teams.....

It is for me too. If I was only allotted 4 days off a year, I'm pretty convinced I would use them all on this week. It will be year twenty-one for me and my Dad. Started in 1994 when I was eight. Lots of memories and would not change any of it. All the best to every team competing in A and AA. It's going to be a fun four days as always.
I need ER vs BJ from 2002 State Quarterfinals. PM me.

I've been mentally checked out of college all week. This is something that makes semesters go faster. A nice break from the monotonous tune of work and school. Good luck to everyone down here this weekend, players and fans. Most importantly, go greyhounds.

My favorite 4 days of the year. I have been to every tournament since 1980. Started going then with my dad when I was 10 years old. The priority year for my tickets are 1969 when my dad first started getting them.

Wishful thinking on our part. So far, its just something special in the State of Hockey - Think we oughta start a petition or something.

If they give a day off for presidents you would think hockey in minnesota warrants 4 days off.

I am joining the pilgrimage and leaving for my vacation trip to the Holy City in just over an hour. Kids are out of school, didn't get much done in the two days of "work" leading up to today. So glad I live where I do!
