Internet. That's why I was questioning the Cougars having 19 first period shots on goal.

Roseau up 4-2 after two. Centennial 33-19 SOG advantage.

Roseau wins 5-3.

That's 5 straight 2-and-outs for 5AA.

Trivia: East has met Stillwater four times in the past, winning all four, but they haven't met since 2009.

1-1, under 2 left in regulation.

Sounds like it's getting down to crunch time.....

Just an FYI from watching my boys defeat Centennial in game 1 today. If Roseau's Anderson wasn't on would have been ugly. 45 saves and one that was spectacular that wish he would have had yesterday instead of today. To give you a reminder he gave up goal 1 yesterday versus North that I thought he actually stopped well today he made that one coming back across with the glove to absolutely rob a Cougar. Petty Larceny my friend!! And being in the goalie union myself was in awe of. ESPN play of day type save!

Any questioning of their goal-tending has been answered. Unless he takes a huge you know what tomorrow versus East IMO he should be all tourney and if not a total travesty again IMO.

Oh BTW they weathered a 5 Minute major so not saying they were lucky to win that game but happy to say they won the game.

I knew it was a few, but 5? Wow. I always liked 5AA more when Elk River was still there. Crazy to think some of those old Northwest Suburban teams won titles 10 years ago and haven't done much since. Blaine (2000), Elk River (2001), Anoka (2003), and Centennial (2004, even though they were 3AA at the time).
I need ER vs BJ from 2002 State Quarterfinals. PM me.

I've always thought he was a good goalie.

It's Roseau's defensive play, both from forwards and defensemen, that isn't very good most times.

Roseau forwards have no defensive responsibility... they play the same at every level.

And sometimes it costs them because of it.
