Hermantown 5, Cloquet 0 after 2 periods. For those in the Duluth area, it's on My9 TV.

Is the game as lopsided as the score makes it look?

Green Wave 6 - 3 Grand Forks Central, Final.

EGF had over 20 minutes of penalties including a 5 minute major in the 3rd.
Enough of that!!

Appears Elk River has beaten Maple Grove 11-4
What is going on with the Crimson?? 0-4 and have been out scored 27-10

Meanwhile, Hornets won 7-2 over CDH
Wait with 2G 4A, 18 points on the year already.

Denfeld 5, Greenway 4. Greenway is going to have to learn to stay out of the penalty box.

Grand Rapids 10-2 over Virginia. It was not as close as the score would suggest.

Not as lopsided. The Hawks were maybe only five goals better than the Jacks tonight. :) Newman struggled somewhat in nets for Cloquet, only 32 shots taken on him. Hey, is this Jacques kid for Cloquet related to the ones who played for East and Marshall?

Elk River went with the Sophmore in goal tonight. 1 goal improvement over the 2 seniors. Still an area of concern.

Burnsville was ahead of BSM 6-3, when I left with >5:00 remaining.

That one really had to taste good since it was the 1st time they beat the Taters since Jan '09 (13 games).

Congrats

Don't let the early season loss(es) fool you, Bemidji is a good team. Can't wait to see who comes out of that section :D

Huge win for the Jacks in what could be a section final preview. Lots of potential from that group in Bemidji. Would love to see a new face from this section at the X this season and i believe they have the talent to do it. Brainerd took another loss last night and it was to a Class A team. still a lot of season left to turn things around but i don't expect them to compete for anything higher then a 3-4 seed in sections.

Jacques plays for Hermantown. His brother played for Hermantown last year and is related to the Marshall/East Jacques.
