Sats could have multiple nominations... I, like my club are becoming very Susan Lucci like.

Man I should've been more active on the forum this year. Totally forgot I was defending a title.

How about an award for most boring.

Lee would seem to be candidate for comeback moderator of the year.

I would love to accept this, however, when your team goes 31-0 and wins a state title, there isn't much to defend!

I would like to nominate myself for "most hated" or a new one I am creating "The Parker Mismash Award" (Best agitator/gets under the skin of other posters the best)

Funny, I would have said you were better qualified to win the award for "Most Easily Agitated because everyone doesn't bow down to my (and my team's) brilliance".

And it's really hard to hate somebody when you're laughing at them.

Ok, maybe it's time for you to take a few more below the belt shots at Eigs and your little Texas comment, that I was "well read enough" this time to translate what you meant.

I can just imagine Sats running through his options

-if I answer I prove him right????

-If I don't answer I prove him right, (or at least it feels like it.)

- Maybe I could just tell him to stop putting down high school kids or put the cork back in the bottle.... or stop hiding behind your anonymous name you coward. Or maybe a 2 week sabbatical to prove to everyone I can do it. That would show them. Or

Why would I need to do that when the first "alleged" shot appears to have riled you up so much? \:D/

Not at all, I take it as a compliment, and I'm sure he does as well.

The bottom line is if LN wasn't successful, or had become completely irrelevant like your once proud Eagan program, no one, including you would even be talking about North, or Eigs. Ps, asked you this once before, what happened to Happy?

First off, you were the one who brought how... high a coach stands on the bench into the discussion, not me.

Second, I didn't wait until after LN became relevant to lament the unsportsmanlike play that was exhibited on the ice and, presumably, tolerated by the bench. The diving predated the hardware.

Third, if you want to assert that one unsuccessful season is enough to make a team "completely irrelevant" and cause it (and its fans) to lose pride, then that's your own bit of foolishness on display. Have at it.

Fourth...why in Herb's name would you expect me to know what happened to Happy?

Back in the high school year book 80's version we had "most likely to" awards.

I would like to propose a few

Most likely to post a photo that makes me laugh...
winner...notTonight
runner up....east hockey Lee

Most likely to start a ridiculous thread that nobody responds to or the responses are sarcastic...
Winner....Grandmeadowhockeyfan
Runner up... Hermantown2000 Though H2000 is a very distant number2

Most likely to make a discussion "Really" personal
Winner.. Sats81
Runner Up... the rest of us

Most likely to be successful after his time on the forum
Winner.... Green4
runner up.... none of us

Most likely to think what they post on the forum changes others minds
Winner... Mr.BoDangles
Runner up... Look at the private school trash talk and decide for yourself

Most likely to post in one word
Elliott70

Most likely to overrate his squad
Winner.. TheHockeyDJ
Runner Up... GR nation

Guys you do not want to get into an intellectual war with
Winner... rainier
Runner up HSHockey watcher.... When these two went at it this year I literally could not follow all the references to the references.. Gave me a headache.

Most likely to go silent when his team loses
Winner.... Just Checking
Runner Up.... Peckyman (just seemed fitting Pecky, no hard feelings)

Poster I am most likely to read on any topic
Winner ... Sats81 The combination of arrogance and insecurity is fascinating.
Runner up...Karl.. nearly as fun to read as Sats but for very different reasons

I would like to nominate the STMA guys who I'm not sure have been back on the forum since the quarterfinal loss to Cloquet

All it took was the facts to get STA to move down.

Just pointed out that:

-STA had more kids in the advanced program than entire AA sections did.

- They would always have one of the toughest schedules in the state.. And on top of that they would schedule teams like SSM and top east coast prep schools.

- asked how it felt to pillage the small town folk..

- pointed out it was all about the store front they were presenting to make money and name for the school.

- And obviously how they should be ashamed of themselves.

- told them they were on par with being a crime family..

Obviously hit home somewhere..No more having it handed on a platter

Time for me to sign out of here for good.. I know many will be sad.. Have fun boys!

 I had the same thought.

I guess I gotta up my game next season if I want to beat Sats. I should've rubbed the STA-DE game in a bit more to get a rise out of Just Checking...

It will be up to Elliott to draw out the ire of the 8AA bound Knights of STMA.

Sorry, karl, but you still wouldn't win. It was a two-part test: arrogance and insecurity.
