They lost 1-0 to Hermantown and beat Andover, Brainerd, and Denfeld pretty handily. CEC actually has another scrimmage this Wednesday and 2 and 3:30 vs. Duluth Marshall. I think its great Duluth Marshall is playing AA now. They love to scrimmage! This will be our second scrimmage with them in as many weeks.

To answer an older question...there are indeed back-to-back weekend summer tournaments at the Eagan Civic Arena. The Summer Meltdown Tournament this weekend is hosted/run by Eagan's HS team. The one after that is run by Eastview's. Don't have info on that one.

Let it go Sats and know how this was set up before you spout off. This was run by SLP, but no HS coach would enter a team in it because of what happened to Tom Benson, rightfully so. Fogerty begged Blaine to run it and they did the best they could to fill the spots. Know the facts before you speak, you don't know as much as you think. Sorry to be harsh, but Coach Carroll has worked his @$$ off to fill the SUMMER tourney and GREAT job to him. It's summer hockey, let it go. There is hockey outside of Shattuck
North. And you aren't as plugged in as you think.

It would be great if anyone is going to any scrimmages to post some summaries of what you saw. I realize that the scores don't really matter in these, just evaluating how the players do at this level. I'm curious how the sophomore goalies for Rapids do in Duluth. Also want to hear about the TC scrimmages and how the Elks look.
