This needs a trip down recent memory lane:
East is bad. They aren't even a top. 15 team. They will have no answer for Jaremko and Lutz. Randolph this Randolph that. Sorry hounds no trip to St. Paul this year. 7AA will be represented well with ER. Tourney will be much better with a legit top 5 team.
So, predictions, predictions. I'd prefer to watch the season unfold instead of just crowning H-M the section champs.

There's certainly talent here but not like the HM teams of even a few years ago, they are beatable, but will be a tough out...I think Stilly is certainly a threat.

Pretty sure this one was Sats81 -- where is Edy again?
Told you all this back in march. Edy will follow. LN will play in big game sat night next march in St. Paul.

You know nothing of the unraveling of the Edquist situation.

Who did you trade to Roseau for Helgeson? He is a freshman? He will get regular playing time?

Helgeson looked good in tryouts. Was skating with Reifenberger and Mills during final scrimmage time

The roster doesn't seem as strong as past years.. Lots of early departures hurt.
No chance Stillwater beats this squad.
Interesting...this group of Stillwater beat up on all these kids their entire careers...when they skated for Mahtomedi WBL Woodbury Hastings Forest Lake. etc etc....you have to take all the best from these programs to compete with them?

We will see but looks to me like this group of ponies can compete with this HM team for next year or two.

Used to be that the Ponies lost their top talent to HM not this group....

When you look at the rosters for both teams the ponies are just as deep have very good tending and high end talent to compete. Toss up at best. Certainly not a landslide for HM

Those were the only two I could think of off hand as well; I guess I can just wait for the roster to get posted on the MSHSL site....

Both the Metro East Conf. and the HM Hockey websites have Stillwater on Jan. 23 and no game against LVN on the schedule. The South Suburban has LVN at Burnsville that night.
