You guys do such a great job with all the rankings, but curious why you don't do any rankings for u15 at all?

That level is like the Junior Gold for girls...it is very topsy turrvy and so few teams.

That said, now that the HS teams are chosen, we may add them into the Staff. Thank you for the kind words about our rankings we bust our butt every week on them. I've always thought - i want to really know a level before I rank something. This level is super tricky.

Maht / SPA a good game tonight. I thought somewhat similar to last year's section final. SPA came out pretty emotional and scored first, but Maht fended off the initial SPA energy for the most part and over the course of the game their depth wore SPA down.

SPA top two lines got a lot of ice time and it showed late in the second and most of the third. Maht rolled three lines for most of the night and the third line got a couple nice chances.

SPA top line is pretty shifty - a lot of skill there. However, I thought there were too many times they tried to dangle their way through the D 1:1 vs looking for the trailer or guy breaking to the net. They snuck behind the D on one goal, but the majority of the time the Maht D did just enough to break up the rush.

Good times. Have to believe these two will be meeting again in late February for bigger stakes.

I see you came around on my earlier advice to move Blaine into top 10.

Good move, along with me and only a couple other pundits, to have courage to rank SW in the top 10 at beginning of season.

I agree with you dropping Edina down a few notches.

If I didnt have a conflict, Id make a run up to Aldrich with good weather tomorrow the 3rd, for the BSM game. Heart says I hope its even, head says Pioneers and keep a close eye on freshman Helgeson

Best game this Saturday- Blaine at Edina. With whats been going on so far, I wouldnt want to put too much money either way on that one.

YHH, your feed for the Mah/SPA game was just excellent. Best video quality game I have ever watched on my iPad! The announcing was excellent also!

Perhaps the pending demise of EGF is a bit premature. They may be shaky at Goaltending but they look like someone will have to kill the king before they take their crown. Rankings look good. While Hermantown Single A looks more balanced than in a long-long time.
