Hub is showing Breck winning 6-0 over EGF in the first on only 8 shots. If that is accurate, that's crazy. Breck might be good this year.

Latest tweet I could find had it 7-0 Breck, a minute into the 2nd period. Wow. https://twitter.com/davidmccoywcco/stat ... 7045491712rainier wrote:Hub is showing Breck winning 6-0 over EGF in the first on only 8 shots. If that is accurate, that's crazy. Breck might be good this year.
Hub has Holy Family ahead of Skips 1 to 0.
Couple of top 15 teams
--------------------------------
Midway thru 3rd, same score, SOGS 26 to 10 in favor of Fire, Skip elite goalie Tom Hanson getting plenty of action

I dont know what game you were at but at no time did I see EGF pound Breck. Breck starting playing their bench warmers in the 2nd periodTower power93 wrote:First five minutes of first period EGF was pounding breck and kept the puck in breck end. Then the defense and goalie took the rest of the period off and sat and watched. Bam 7-0 game over. New goalie and it is 2-1 breck since. Will see how they look against St. Paul academy on Saturday.

The fact is this EGF team is not the same as I watched at the xcel last march . They don't have the top end scoring talent or the goaltending from last year. I can not see a scenario where this EGF team will make the xcel this year . They are likely to improve during the season with the goaltender and players getting varsity experience but it won't be enough. Sorry green wave.
