Perhaps 8AA 4 seed vs perhaps 7AA 3 seed.

Preseason or at six games in, no one would have given Roseau a chance.

For DEast, WBL was step one.
Roso is step two on the road to another state appearance?

When I was home over the holidays I watched 3 Roseau games. None of them were against particularly good opponents but Roseau's top two lines are pretty creative offensively. They don't have a lot of team speed though and a team that's either quick or moves the puck real well shouldn't have a problem against the Rams. I would take Duluth East in this game just because I have to assume they will be quicker than most teams Roseau has faced.

I see Helgeson scored for Roseau - oops! Hill Murray- last night.

To think what could have been for the Rams- a few years from now

Trade rules need to be revisited

Anyway, the Hounds should win this one

I have seen that one mentioned a lot on here this year.

How come no-one mentioned 10th grade Cade Gleekel's transfer after his team scoring leading season at Blake over to Benilde.

Or this year 10th grade Mack Byer's going from Breck to Holy Family where he is 4th or 5th in team scoring.

Last time I checked you had to move or sit out a year or play JV. Well, some kids do...

Since I don't favor any particular team and I see a lot of these kids play every week in the West Metro, to me it's like they were never traded. Or maybe they were intramural trades within the West Metro and I didn't notice. But you forgot to mention Gabe Heifort, my head kept spinning on that one especially since he remained captain of team North in the Elite League

either irrelevant player or private to private or public to private is ok. Which can work out well when the only private nearby. Go Marshall, go SCC

Roseau radio: http://www.wild102fm.com/sports-desk.php

PageStat has Roseau higher than White Bear, so this isn't one the Hounds can take for granted. Though to be fair, the tight game with Da Bears had more to do with East's play than anything WBL was doing to trouble the Hounds.

Ok, got it. Did the Byers move too? Help me understand what the district is for a private school. Kids come from all over the TC area to go to any number of private schools, didn't realize they had their own districts or boundaries.

East up 6-1 after 2. Hounds rolling; big day for the newly minted Altmann-Worth-Mageau line. SOG 21-9.

Otherwise, Roseau would have "easily" won.

7-1 Final. SOG 34-11. Mostly running time in the 3rd. Not a great opponent, of course, but it's nice to see some offense and a complete lack of drama in an East game.

That East freight train in starting to roll late in the season. Watch out cloquet or Grand Rapids, of elk river.

Struck a nerve with the Lessers, Karl. Neutered14 had a minor meltdown. Well, not a meltdown but the best he could manage. Good times.

He found something that struck a nerve in that? Ookay.

Good to see I'm still loved by people who left this forum when I was a freshman in college.
