1. Hermantown
2. Greenway
3. Hibbing

5. Denfeld
6. North Shore
7. Eveleth-Gilbert
8. Proctor
9. I-Falls
10. Ely

I think Greenway has the talent to be a top 5 A team, if they are able to get solid goaltending. They shouldn't lose to anyone other than Hermantown in 7A, as they bring back the vast majority of their scoring and add some good bantam talent to the mix.

Losing Perunovich to juniors and Ullan to the NTDP drops Hibbing from a top 3 A team to likely a 10-20 A team. There is still talent on this team, and quite a bit of depth as far as single A is concerned. There isn't much bantam help arriving, but the JV was ridiculously good last year (which was a reason many people disliked the previous coach). If they get some solid goaltending, they should be able to beat out Virginia for the #3 seed.

Virginia is kind of a mystery to me. They bring in a solid bantam class to a varsity team that had some talent last year, but their outstanding goalie who kept them in most games graduated. Seitz is a star and his being left off the North Elite League team is a major mistake. Murray and Phaneuf were solid defenseman last year, and if the youngsters can acclimate to varsity quickly, then Virginia could absolutely grab the #3 seed.

I never really know how good Denfeld will be anymore. They should always be a top 5 team in 7A, but surprise transfers and move-ins seem to be fairly common there and could vault them into the top 3 if it happens again.

These teams doing the usual scrimmage fest this weekend?

Explains everything..
Apparently you do not get it.
Who cares?
It is a question.
And the answer, more board members care about 3a based on what goes on here.
5A perhaps not so much, but still some.
Apparently you do not identify an attempt to get the others feeding info etc.
to this sight.

So you revert to a senseless method of rebuttal or response by personal attacks. It makes one wonder of the true character of a person.

Took you a while to think that bs up.. Good try..

All right I see your laughing so no further discussion.

But to tell you I saw your response and answered... so took no time.
We all know you care about 5a...
And we have ranier for 7a, but most of the rest of us do not show (or have not so far this season) shown passion for other sections.

And I was not disagreeing with you about Monti...just providing a different angle

So lets all :D
and enjoy the season.

No snip, just a disagreement, no question about St Mike's being in the mix, but Moorhead is good now and will improve as the year progresses.

From my chair and others, they are #1 right now.

Yes, but there is a definite family resemblance.
