Falls beats Greenway

Post by greenwayraider »

Falls beat Greenway 4-3 in OT. Falls was the better team. It actually should not have gone into OT as the refs missed a Falls goal as it barely crossed the goal line. It was clearly a goal before a Greenway reached in and pulled it out.

Wow. Just gone done watching an excellent Virginia-Eveleth game, and didn't expect to see this. Perhaps Greenway took Falls too lightly? This Falls team is really Jekyll and Hyde.

This does open the door a bit for Hibbing to sneak into #2, as this loss is worse than any Hibbing has so far.

All of Hibbing's remaining games are section opponents. Any seed is open to them at this point, really.
