I don't doubt it will be a close game. Hill is incapable of making it easy on themselves. How about your squad and MG? Could get interesting...Goldyismoldy wrote:I believe in Tartan now, sorry.Sparlimb wrote:Semi Predictions

Most of the games from here on out will be good, with a half dozen coin flips.Sparlimb wrote:I don't doubt it will be a close game. Hill is incapable of making it easy on themselves. Speaking of Sager and the Bears. It would be interesting to see how many times he upsets a lower seed versus loses to a higher seed in his career.
Hockey Hub only goes back to the 2009-2010 season. In that time:
(-) 09-10 Section plays out as #1 HM beats #2 WBL
(+1) 10-11 #2 WBL upsets #1 HM to go to state
(-1) 11-12 #2 WBL gets upset by #7 St. Paul Johnson
(-) 12-13 Section plays out as #1 HM beats #2 WBL
(-1) 13-14 #3 SW upsets #2 WBL
(-1) 14-15 #3 SW upsets #2 WBL
(+1) 15-16 #5 WBL upsets #4 Rsvl
(-1) 16-17 #6 Tartan upsets #3 WBL
So over that 8 year period, Sager is a collective -2. The disturbing trend is that over the past 6 years, they have been upset 4 times (including losing to a #7 and #6 seed) and only had a minor upset win in a quarter final match up against #4 Roseville.

Me and my brother were at the Wayzata game this year and we're impressed with BH. He's a big solid kid and am happy he's around another couple years.WestMetro wrote:Sparlimb, been following Ben Helgeson since Bantam Elite League at BIG.
Seen him play 2-3 times each year since, including last years classic 4AA championship.
Hoping for a rematch of the same two teams.
