Huff is really, really good. Where is he playing next year? Sidenote, Louie is a gem but he's losing it a bit.

Got caught boozing and was suspended.

The whole story behind that is actually very interesting. Both Grand Rapids and Duluth East players had videos/snapchats of the opposite teams drinking at a party before the section finals. Both teams threatened to release them to get opposing players suspended. The coaches called each other, and both agreed to just have no one say anything.

Then, a Duluth East player who was salty about the section final loss decided to release a picture of Blake drinking. Coach Klatt was forced to sit him.

GR is very talented, but there Dmen better not get caught being up watching too much. MG had a bunch of odd man rushes, especially early in the game. Agree Huff is a great player.

This has been a problem for Rapids for at least three years. I don't expect anything to change on Friday. If it does, Rapids dramatically increases its chance of winning.

Agree. D has been the issue for the last few years. Difference this year is the huge scoring potential of 1st line. D IS MARGINALLY better than in last 2 years and IF Klatt is right, this TEAM has the will to win (as opposed to chasing individual accolades as in years past)

I think it will be a much closer contest than last year's semifinal. The big 3 are so dynamic, very elusive and great puck control. I thought the second line played exceptional last night. They will be a very important factor in determining this game. If they can sustain a forecheck and contribute on the score sheet it takes pressure off the top line.

Not unlikely at all. Confirmed, actually. This stuff happens all the time.

You think coaches wouldn't get involved when several top players are involved and possible trips to state are lost?

Sure, if they're stupid.
