Who the hell picked the Gopher Bar?

I guess if dive bar hot dogs are your thing, this place has the dive-iest dogs but... CASH ONLY! Owner obviously hates the IRS....

Downtowner has the best food out of these, but it's kind of upscale for your average hockey fan.

Burger Moes has decent burgers and a pretty good beer selection.

I have no idea why people love Cossetas, it seems pretty average Italian to me.

The ranger bar, more fun to be had for less $'s.

I think McGovern's is on the other list.

As for the others, I just started writing them down in relation to which ones were close and which ones I have enjoyed for various reasons.
Obviously some did not make the list, just as Edina, Duluth East, Elk River and Lakeville North did not make the tourney.

:D

Just one thing to say to those, 'GET BETTER'.

I see I only have six on this thread.
McGoverns was on my sheet of paper,

perhaps one of the brains of this place can add it, if I cannot figure it out.

Added McGovern's to the list. And voted for it...love the size and variety of that place.

I usually make my obligatory Cossetta's visit on Wednesday, as the line is less hellish during Class A. Thursday is splurge day at St. Paul Grill, and Saturday is always the back patio at McGovern's between sessions. Friday is the wild card.

Stayed at the St Paul Hotel last year.
Stopped in the grill and had 2 fingers of 31 year old Glen Levitt Scotch.
$35.

Stupid me, I had a second glass.
