Curious where you heard this :?:
With an enrollment of 3,228 right now getting to 4,000 "in a year or 2" would represent tremendous increase.

warmskin wrote:Has anyone heard of the proposed new MSHL rule that would allow students to transfer to a new school (receiver) if the current school (sender) signs off on the transfer much like what happens in the NCAA transfers. The student would be eligible to play varsity sports without sitting out a year.
I have heard the proposal will be voted on at the next MSHL meeting next month.
Has anyone heard anymore on this? When will this be voted on?

I'm probably off a little, but current grad class is low 800's. Heard the 7th/8th grade size approximates 1200. So the numbers are growing at a fast pace. GB

Has anybody heard of any of the details of this proposed rule change? Will there be an appeal process if a school denies a transfer? If they do vote yes on this I wonder when it would take effect.

Its already done. There was a change but its not much easier to transfer. Basically still need to move to be eligible.

Where did you here this? If the meeting to vote on this is next week was there a meeting just to vote on this rule change? If it did indeed not pass any reasons?

The meeting took place June 5th. The Aug meeting is to review and approve what was agreed to back in June.
