Looks like Greenway has a way to go before being a top ten team. Pretty much dominated by Mound in the third period. Their goalie was the #1 Star of the game. He was as good as advertised. He is very quick and always in position.

Saw Edina reaffirm it’s unanimous dominant first place ranking with a 7-0 win over HF. A little early to start talking about a 31-0 season, but the thought has crossed my mind, however they have toughest SOS in all of AA

Watched MG vs Wayz in what I expected would be a close matchup all the way between Northwestern metro rivals with the best student sections , both in the 11-15 rank range . (The only time I’m scheduled to see MG in reg season .) It was close all right , but only because Haider kept Crimson in the game , as the Trojans drastically outshot them. Crimson went on to win in a shootout.

Meanwhile the stream quality was great for the Tonka / STA game from BIG.
Close game as predicted between 2 top five teams . I Thought STA was a little deeper more experienced team at the high school level, but give Tonka credit for coming back twice and putting themselves in position to win it in OT. Huge motivation builder for the new regime !

With their best talent being young, I see the Raiders being a significantly improved team come playoff time. Good to see they have some goaltending too.

Greenway was fun to watch the first two periods when they used there speed and skill that they have. As for the third period they played out of what they were doing and fell into Mound Westonkas game which didn’t help Greenway and Mound outplayed them.
Greenways new goalie besides adapting to playing with a throat protector should be just fine. Thanks to a certain someone at a certain school for the Finn!
They’re kids NOT PROFESSIONALS
It’s just a game!
