Peterson has left Hopkins.
Hopefully the next coach can help pump some life into their youth program
And per this article, looks like Totino will be opening up as well.

First off, congrats to Jim O'Neil on a long, successful career. He may not have been an ambitious program-builder in the way of some other private school coaches of his era, but he did some very good work over the years, including winning a state championship in the McDonagh era, knocking off a very good East team in the 09 Tourney, upsetting undefeated Benilde in 16, and getting this past season's team to a very high level by the end. He leaves the program in pretty good shape.
Interesting move by Funk over to Cretin, and he's surrounded himself with some quality coaching talent...the fact that he peeled Murphy, who coached the Tonka bantams on their great recent run, away from a head coach job at Totino after just one season shows they're aiming to build something here. Given its size and success in other sports, Cretin certainly has some room to build its hockey program. Now, if only we could get the Raiders back into a section that made even a slight amount of geographic sense...

According to Twitter, looks like Cale Arhart stays at the helm of Chisago Lakes after taking over mid season.

The EGF board has approved the hire of Tyler Palmiscno as boys hockey coach. Palmiscno led EGF to state titles in 2014 and 2015 before taking the last three years off.

Coach Openings
Any word on any Northern MN Coaching openings???
Re: Coach Openings
It's pretty quiet up here in the 218. Head Coach at Duluth Marshall pretty sick. I haven't heard if he will or he won't be coaching the Hilltoppers this winter though. At this point, I'm going to assume he will be the head skipper this upcoming high school hockey season.
