If CEC loses to Forest Lake tonight, I see forest lake at 3 and Grand Rapids at 4. CEC still has Duluth East home and Rapids up there.

Meh. While I respect Elk River this hasn't been a good season for them and they seem to be in tail spin. After watching Andover man handle MG yesterday, they are over the HDM hangover and are again rolling. If there’s ever a year where Andover goes to State in 7AA...THIS is the year. They’re a really fast & quick team team that wins races to the puck & pumps shots on goal. And Schoen will be a Mr Hockey Finalist...and Fritz will be a FB award Finalist, while Kaiser & Wolfe are 2 of the best top 5 or 6 D in 7AA.elliott70 wrote: ↑Sun Feb 03, 2019 10:36 am Looks like Andover and DEast are locked in at 1 and 2.
CEC needs to beat GRapids and Proctor to lock in #3, beating DEast will probably not get them the #2 becuase too much disparity in QRF numbers.
Elk River has a chance to catch FLAKE for 4 especially with the tie breaker win.
Grand Rapids with the nice win over Wayzata gives them hope for a move up but with only 3 games against two tough opponents and a third against tough opponents and the third a decent opponent, time seems to be running out.

. I tell you one thing I’ve learned these last couple of years. Success at the youth hockey levels does not always transfer to high school. It blows my mind, but it’s true.
